OPERATION JOY

OPERATION JOY is the code name for our worldwide outreach ministry. It is taken from Acts 8:4-8 (KJV Easy Reading) which says, “Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ to them. And the people with one accord gave heed to those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great JOY in that city.”

CONVENTION ANTIOCH 1 THEME: SEPARATED FOR EXCELLENCE MAY 2-9, 2004 KABALE, UGANDA

By Divine appointment, my wife, Arlene Roller Wright, and I, Howard Eugene Wright, left Miami International Airport at 11:17 am on April 29, 2004 headed for Detroit. From Detroit we flew to Amsterdam. We left Amsterdam headed for Nairobi on April 30, 2004 at 8:40 pm. We went from Nairobi, Kenya to Kigali, Rwanda on May 1, 2004. We were then escorted to Kabale, Uganda via taxi. What a trip of over 8100 miles! The Lord was with us all the way! Every where we went everyone was very kind to us! God is so good!

This was an international event. We had over 1000 church leader delegates from Tanzania, Rwanda, the Congo and Uganda. We had speakers from the Congo, the USA and Uganda, with a number of choirs from village churches throughout the area.

This is a mighty moving of God’s Holy Spirit. People were standing all around our convention site. Many were saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, healed, delivered from curses and demon possession. Great joy is being experienced everywhere. This has brought tremedous blessing that continues to increase and grow.

We are planning for Convention Antioch II. We will keep you updated on the progress. Theme: Breaking generational curses to bring glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ!

“Or despise you the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

But after your hardness and impenitent heart treasure up to yourself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life:

But to them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jews first, and also to the Gentile:

For there is no respect of persons with God” (Romans 2:4-11 KJV Easy Reading).

For generations Americans have been breaking the covenant their forefathers made with God. (The covenant is found in their national documents.) As a result of this, Americans have many curses on them–things that grind people down: chronic sickness, family breakdown, moral decay, corrupt politics, witchcraft, false doctrines, financial inability, spiritual weakness, social breakdown, and the like–that must be broken if we are ever going to be the great nation God meant us to be. Americans bring curses upon themselves every time they: (1) shed innocent blood through abortions and other unjustified taking of someone’s life, (2) mistreat the weak that do not have the power to defend themselves, (3) practice sexual perversions outside of the marriage of one man and one woman for life, (5) rebel against God’s laws found in the Judeo-Christian Scriptures, (6) break the covenants they vow to God and others, and (7) allow their national leaders to commit treasonous acts against us for their personal gain. Americans must repent (Proverbs 28:13) of all of these national sins and bring themselves under the redemption of God through our Lord Jesus Christ. America’s citizens must make restitution to every one they have wronged. Those wronged must wholeheartedly forgive the repentant evildoers. The evildoers must do everything they possibly can do to turn their curses into blessings. Everyone needs to be reconciled to one another according to God’s plan. Everyone must make every effort to pay for the sins he has committed against God and others. If Americans do not repent and accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord, they will face destruction. If each American humbles himself under the mighty hand of God, God will lift America up. America, bless God! America, turn from your wicked ways! America, turn back to God right now. America, get right with God so you can be a part of “Operation Joy.” Let us turn our curses into blessings!

There is a new ministry of the “Winds of the Spirit Ministries” that will be launched very soon. It will be directed toward helping the Christian colleges and universities in the United States free themselves from the curses that have hindered them from fulfilling the Great Commission. Furthermore, we will keep you updated as to the moving of God’s Holy Spirit upon us as He leads us to the various colleges and universities of our nation. Our prayer is that the Lord will bring the Uganda revival to America. Please pray for us as we seek to fulfill the vision God has given us for America. When “The Winds of the Spirit Ministries” comes to your college or university, give them your warm welcome and complete cooperation! They are coming to be of assistance to you so you can bless the world!
