"In addition to being required to successfully complete
eight (8) courses (5 in Phase I and 3 in Phase II) the
certification/licensure candidate must also:
1. complete the face-to-face clinical supervision
under the approved supervisor and pay the
supervisor $300 for this service,
2. administer the Temperament Analysis Profile
(T.A.P.) to 25 individuals. The candidate must pay
$20 to the supervisor for each T.A.P. and should
charge the counseling client between $45 and $75
for the T.A.P. report.
3. respond to the fifty (50)ethical questions posed by
the Licensing Board of Examiners."
"The C.A.I. Application/Check List outlines everything
that needs to be submitted prior to N.C.C.A.'s
consideration for approval of the candidate."
"ALL required documents and supporting evidence must be
sumitted to the N.C.C.A. before the
certification/license will be awarded."
"Continuing education is required for annual
certification or license renewal."
"Evidence of ministerial credentials must be submitted
along with standard required documentation and first
years' dues of $50 in order for him/her to be approved
as a Professional Clinical Member."
Foreign Students -"The N.C.C.A. does not require foreign
studentes to complete the Phase II program. In addition,
foreign students are not required to complete
face-to-face supervision. However, all other
requirements remain the same as those outlined in this
manual. Foreign students who complete the five (5)
Phase I courses, administer the T.A.P. to ten (10)
individuals and submit required documentation, will
receive their certification as a Certified Temperament
Counselor. The N.C.C.A. does not normally license
anyone outside of the Continental U. S. Annual dues
of $50 is required."
