He is also currently the Vice Chairman of Kabale Pastors Fellowship, a fellowship that brings together all pastors of the Born Again Churches in Kabale. God has endowed Pastor Tukakira Victor with many ministry gifts, and an amazing ability to work with other people. His great love for God’s people and a heart for missions have made him travel to several nations conducting revival meetings and gospel crusades. CONVENTION ANTIOCH

 

“LORD, if you give me a breakthrough and show me your goodness, then I will stand with your servants by your grace!”

 

That was the desperate prayer of the vision bearer of Convention Antioch, Pastor Tukakira Victor, as he was pushed to the limits and had despaired of life itself, while in travail before the Lord.

 

It is at Antioch that the Great ministry of Apostle Paul was funned (buoyed) up; he was otherwise burnt-out, and it took a ‘Barnabas’ to restore this gospel giant. (See ACTS 11:25-26.)

 

We believe there is something like ‘burning-out’ in the ministry and that is why Convention Antioch was born.

 

Convention Antioch is an annual event for leaders and ministers, with a mission to MOBILISE, EQUIP and COMMISSION men and women with a call to serve God to the mission fields in their respective callings.

 

Every year the month of May has turned out to be a special moment for many, as they converge at “Antioch” here in Kabale in southwestern Uganda--commonly known as the Switzerland of Africa, because of the great physical features and weather. It is also known for being the centre of the Great East African Revival that sparked off in the 1930’s.

GOSPEL AMBASSADORS DELEGATION (G.A.D)

 

G.A.D is the missions’ department of “Tree of Life Ministries International” with a mission to communicate the gospel to the ordinary man, in an ordinary way.

 

The ministry reaches out through:

 

        Radio broadcast ministry,

       

Open air meetings/Crusade ministry,

       

Door to door evangelism,

       

Street evangelism,

       

And church planting.

WOMEN WITH A DIFFERENCE.

 

Women with a Difference is a church-based ministry that conducts monthly classes for women on:

 

        21st century Parenting,

       

Women’s participation in ministry,

       

And innovation of sustainable income generating projects.

 

Women are a great resource in ministry, once motivated to explore the heights; it’s simply amazing what a motivated woman can do.

 

The mission of Women with a Difference is to break the rudimentary, traditional mentality that takes a woman as another piece of property at home (like one owns a house, car or homestead pets), without destroying the mother’s responsibility.

 

Our dream is to see every woman become her best in God, whatever the scripture allows a woman to be.

 

 

DYNAMIC YOUTH

 

Youth is power. This is the slogan for the young people here who are all out to devastate the kingdom of darkness.

 

We conduct annual youth camps for sharing, prayer, retreat/reflection, and special teaching workshops.

 

We believe that ALL young people are a reserve of motivation that just needs to be stirred to (steered in)  the right direction.

 

 

MUSIC MINISTRY

 

To us, music ministry not only takes the gospel (forward), but also, is the key in personal and church worship.

 

Our music ministry includes:

 

        The Praise Team,

       

Redemption Choir,

       

Hosanna Worship Team,

 

Women with A Difference Choir,

       

Dance and Drama,

       

Teen and Under-Teen Choirs.

 

 

COMMUNITY CARE MINISTRY

 

We have three major divisions of Community Care Ministry at Tree of Life:

 

The Good Samaritan Call,

 

Adult Literacy,

 

Child Care Ministry.

 

 

THE GOOD SAMARITAN CALL

 

The Good Samaritan Call is a branch of Community Care Ministry that reaches out to the disaster stricken in the community.

 

The Good Samaritan Call goes to Hospitals, Prisons, Street Kids, Drug Addicts, AIDS victims, widows and orphans.

 

This ministry of compassion reaches out by offering material and moral support, counselling, prayer and exhortation in the Word.

 

The Good Samaritan Call is currently run and funded by the generous gifts and donations from the members of Mwanjari Soulwinner Church and our other branch churches here in Uganda.

 

 

ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM

 

Adult Literacy Program has a mission to provide basic educational skills to the unlearned adult as a human resource empowerment scheme.

 

The ministry conducts classes in:

 

Reading and writing,

       

Basic skills in business organisation and management,

       

Bookkeeping and accounts,

       

Primary heath care and hygiene,

       

 

And home catering skills.

 

 

CHILD CARE MINISTRY

 

Child Care ministry targets the Underprivileged Child so as to provide a place where all feel accepted.

 

The mission of the children’s fellowship and classes is to provide a perfect grooming place for a better future generation with:

 

The fear of God,

       

Good morals,

       

And a healthy self-image/attitude.

 

Child Care Ministry works hand in hand with The Good Samaritan Call to meet the material needs of those in need.
